MEET NICK
Nick Papalambropoulos is a husband, father of two young boys, business owner and proud Ward 3 resident who lives, works and raises his family right here in Ajax.
For more than 20 years, Nick has built a successful landscaping, construction and property maintenance company from the ground up. He understands infrastructure, tenders, budgets, staffing and the real cost of getting work done. He knows every dollar matters and believes taxpayers deserve real value while protecting their pockets.
Nick doesn’t just talk about building vibrant communities. He has the track record to prove it. Through his leadership with the Greektown on the Danforth Business Improvement Area, he brought residents and businesses together and led an initiative that earned the area a 2025 Toronto beautification award.
As Co-Chair of Taste of the Danforth, the largest food festival in the world, Nick worked directly with municipal, provincial and federal governments to secure funding, coordinate planning and successfully deliver an event that welcomed 1.9 million people. He knows how to bring businesses, communities and every level of government to the same table and get results.
As a stroke survivor, soccer coach and community advocate, Nick understands perseverance, teamwork and giving back. Ajax is already an amazing place to live, but there is always room to improve. Nick wants to create more opportunities for our youth, provide real support for seniors, strengthen our downtown and protect taxpayers’ pockets.
This is our community. Improving it will take residents, businesses and every generation working together. Nick is ready to bring the experience, energy and leadership to help make it happen.
I am pleased to endorse Nick Papalambropoulos for Ward 3 Councillor. He is aware of the urgent need for assisted living housing with integrated non-profit care and support for older adults in Ajax.
He also knows about the challenges caregivers face, and the resources they need because he and his family took care of their own loved ones.
He recognizes that locked wards in institutions are no place for people with dementia, and that in order to acquire and renovate small, neighbourhood-based homes with round the clock staffing funded by Ontario Health as alternatives to institutions, municipalities like Ajax must collaborate with Canada’s new housing accelerator.
Nick believes in an inclusive community that takes care of all Ajax residents, including older people living with frailty and individuals with disabilities.
